Aloha Moonshine Monday!

First of all, I just want to say Mahalo (which is Hawaiian for thank you!) to Jeff Kohr and the entire Kohr family for all they have done to help me on this journey! Doug and Kelley Kohr are the owners of Moonshine and continue to support me in so many ways! Jeff took that over the top by giving me an all-expense paid vacation in Hawaii this past week!
I feel so blessed in so many ways! First of all, both Moonshine and I needed some time off. Second of all, I have a personal goal to see all 50 states before I turn 50 and wasn’t sure how I would ever get to Hawaii and Alaska, but I can now cross Hawaii off the list!! (And I will also get to cross Oklahoma off the list in October!) Third of all, who wouldn’t want to see Hawaii?!! And with a great host who made sight seeing so easy!

It was a great time in Oahu! From the beaches of Waikiki to the lovely north shore, the island is like no other place I have ever been! Both urban, beach, forest, and mountain all in one place!
I was particularly moved by my visit to Pearl Harbor. I love learning about history in the place that it happened. If you ever get to Hawaii, I highly recommend spending a day Pearl Harbor! Enjoy this week’s Moonshine Monday update, which is a little different that normal!

I did it! Ozzie and I published!

I did it!  I finally published the story of Ozzie, the horse that changed everything for me!  Ozzie was with me for more than 25 years and is the reason I study horsemanship!  Many of you have met Ozzie, who passed away a year ago.  But few of you know about our early days together.  Ozzie was a challenging horse with a big personality, and I was madly in love with him, even though he was not suitable for me at all.  He would push me and cause chaos wherever he went in his early days.  Thanks to him, I sought out help from a friend who lead me to the path of horsemanship!  And I have never looked back! Don’t forget to get your copy on Amazon.com.
